Henry County Jr. Fair

On Aug. 14-20, the 2015 Henry County Jr. Fair was hosted. Members of the L.C. Central Station 4-H club brought their livestock such as cattle, rabbits, horses, pigs, sheep and goats to the fair. Due to the Avian Flu people could not take poultry to the fair, instead they brought posters about their project. The miscellaneous projects were judged before fair. Many members brought in poster, ribbons, and other items from their projects to put in the booth. Also members of the club went to state with their projects. Each club has a booth that they can decorate based on a theme. This year’s theme was “Hats off to the Henry County Fair goers!” The Henry County 4-H clubs compete against each other for the Outstanding Booth Award. This year the L.C. Central Station 4-H club won the Outstanding Small Booth Award. (Information submitted by Lucy Jones, News Reporter). Comments (0)
