COLUMBUS - Wauseon's Lexe McQuillin is tied for 31st overall after the first day of the Division II girls state golf tournament at the Ohio State University's Gray Course.

The tournament concludes today with the second round.

McQuillin shot an 89 (47-42) to lead the Lady Indians, who shot a 403 to sit 12th out of 12 teams.

Also for Wauseon, Calaway Gerken is tied for 46th (95), Jordan King is tied for 58th (104) and Ellie Oyer is tied for 69th (115).

On the boys side, Wauseon's Andy Scherer shot a 94 and is 65th overall in the Division II state tournament at OSU's Scarlet Course in Columbus.

The tournament concludes today with the second round.
