WAUSEON — The Fulton County OSU Extension recently hosted its 4-H advisor banquet. Among multiple awards presented, the late Trish Andre was awarded the Friend of 4-H Award.
Andre was an advisor in the Fulton County 4-H program for 16 years. She graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science degree in agronomy and was a certified crop advisor. She married her husband, Nate Andre, in 1985, and they have three children, Perry, Kira and Ross. Andre was a dairy and poultry 4-H advisor in Pettisville Ever-Ready 4-H club, she served on the board of directors for Fulton County Farm Bureau, and she was a member of the Fulton County-Ohio State University Extension Advisory Committee.
Outside of 4-H, Andre was a member of North Clinton Church, where she volunteered as Bible Quiz coach, the Ohio Jersey Breeder’s Association and Gideon International Auxiliary.
Andre succumbed to injuries she sustained in a car accident in early August. The Fulton County 4-H program and its volunteers promise to honor her through dedication and hard work in 4-H.
