The Henry County Safe Communities Coalition organized an assembly at Napoleon High School Wednesday in preparation for the Click It Or Ticket campaign, which is May 20-June 2.

Coalition members monitored the student parking lot Wednesday morning prior to the assembly to calculate the number of drivers who were wearing their seat belts as they arrived at school. That number was 81.6 percent.

However, coalition members returned to the student lot Thursday morning to see if the assembly made an impact on seat belt usage — and it did, with 97.7 percent of students wearing their seat belt.
