Early voting in-office and voting by mail began Tuesday for the Henry County Board of Elections for the Nov. 5 general election.

Registered county voters can call for an absentee request at 419-592-7956 or visit for in-office voting hours.

Absentee in-office voting hours are:

•Oct. 15-25, Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

•Oct. 28-Nov. 1, Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

•Saturday, Nov. 2, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

•Sunday, Nov. 3, 1-5 p.m.

•Monday, Nov. 4, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

UOCAVA (military) absentee ballots have also been made ready for those to whom it applies.

General election day polls will be open from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.
