The following is a list of meetings scheduled next week for the City of Napoleon. Unless otherwise noted, all meetings take place at the city building.
The Planning Commission will meet at 5 p.m. Monday. The agenda includes an update on the city’s master plan.
The Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Monday. The agenda includes discussion on the swimming pool.
The Tree Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Monday. The agenda includes a review of tree call reports, update on fall contracts, review of spring plantings and trimming lists and finalizing next year’s budget and plans.
City council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. The agenda includes approval of a resolution to oppose Issue 1 in the November general election as an emergency and under the suspension of rules requiring three readings; first reading of an ordinance prohibiting “Jake” brakes; approval of a resolution appointing an alternate city representative to serve on the Buckeye Ohio Risk Management Association (BORMA) Board of Directors as an emergency and under the suspension of rules requiring three readings; second reading of a resolution amending the rules of the Napoleon Outdoor Refreshment Area; second reading of an ordinance increasing sanitary sewer rates for 2019; and discussion on power supply cost adjustments for October, yard waste site policy changes, grant application for Oakwood Avenue, the city-wide master plan update and swimming pool.
