TOLEDO — A Liberty Center woman has entered a guilty plea to attempted abduction in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.
Hannah Carpenter, 34, Monday pleaded guilty to one count of attempt to commit abduction, a fourth-degree felony. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered, and sentencing is set for July 6.
Carpenter was released on her own recognizance with supervised electronic monitoring with permission to travel to court appointments and court-related medical appointments; was ordered to reside with her parents in Liberty Center; was ordered not to ingest illicit drugs, alcohol or prescription medications unless prescribed; and to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
At 6:20 p.m. April 1 at Fifth Third Field in Toledo, Carpenter grabbed onto and pulled a stroller in an attempt to take the child that was in it.
