Michael P. Prystash Jr., 46, of Napoleon appeared by video Tuesday for an initial appearance on two counts of theft, one a fourth-degree felony and one a fifth-degree felony, and one count of forgery, a fifth-degree felony.

Prystash requested court-appointed counsel, and the court determined he qualified. A full preliminary hearing is set for Thursday at 2:15 p.m.

Bond was set at $25,000.
