Pedestrian hit

DOVER TOWNSHIP, Fulton County — The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian that occurred early Wednesday morning.

The post reported that at 12:57 a.m. Wednesday troopers were dispatched to State Route 108 south of County Road J for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

The report states a vehicle driven by Kyle Knierim of Wauseon was heading south on Rte. 108 and struck Aaron Zimmerman of Delta, who was in the roadway.

Knierim was not injured in the crash.

The accident is under investigation. The Toledo post was assisted at the scene by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and the Wauseon Fire Department.
