MONROE TOWNSHIP — The Henry County Sheriff’s office reported an Oct. 15 crash resulted in three injuries.

The office issued a report Wednesday evening stating Rachel R. Hammond, 31, of Swanton was northbound on State Route 109 near County Road J at 9:08 p.m. and went left of center. Her vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and struck a vehicle operated by Noah D. Buchenberg, 25, of Napoleon.

Hammond was transported to Henry County Hospital by Holgate EMS with non-incapacitating injuries. A passenger in her vehicle, Victor R. Magallanes, 32, of Leipsic, had incapacitating injuries and was transported to Henry County Hospital by Holgate EMS. Buchenberg had incapacitating injuries and was transported to Toledo Hospital by Monroe Township EMS.

Damage to both vehicles was disabling.

It was reported Hammond was cited for a marked lanes violation and littering.
