Napoleon Police Department


Jared M. Denman, 41, of Lakewood was westbound in the 500 block of East Riverview Avenue at 7:25 p.m. Saturday when his vehicle struck a deer crossing the roadway. No injuries were reported, and his car had minor damage.

Trent C. Geahlen, 18, of Napoleon was westbound at exit 39 of U.S. Route 24 at 7:32 p.m. Saturday when his vehicle was struck by a deer that entered the roadway from the north. Geahlen was not injured, and his pick-up truck was disabled.

Henry County Sheriff’s Office


Joseph M. Blandy, 33, of Hamler was westbound on State Route 18 in Marion Township at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday and was stopped in traffic, waiting to make a left turn onto County Road E. Anne S. Clark, 51, of Defiance was also westbound on Rte. 18 and struck the rear of Blandy’s vehicle. Blandy had minor injuries and was transported by Holgate EMS to Wood County Hospital. Clark had minor injuries and was transported by Medic 1 to Mercy-Defiance Hospital. Both cars were disabled.

Amber M. Morrow, 31, of Liberty Center was northbound on County Road 6 near County Road V in Washington Township at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday when her vehicle struck a deer in the roadway and another deer struck the side of her vehicle. No injuries were reported, and her SUV had minor damage.

William D. French, 41, of Napoleon was northbound on County Road 19 near U.S. Route 6 in Freedom Township at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday when his vehicle struck a deer. French was not injured, and his car was disabled.

•Assisted Defiance County Sheriff’s Office, Rte. 24 near County Road 17D, Napoleon Township, 1:04 p.m. Wednesday, returned subject home.

•Tires damaged, 256 Walnut St., Ridgeville Corners, 3:43 p.m. Wednesday.
