DEFIANCE COUNTY — Sheriff’s deputies arrested two people for burglary Wednesday afternoon.

While responding to a call of a reported burglary in Adams Township, deputies found Luke Daenens, 21, of Defiance and Kayla Hahn, 21, of Lyons, in the residence, which was not theirs.

Deputies also found both suspects to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Both suspects are being held at the Correction Center of Northwest Ohio and will appear in Defiance Municipal Court Friday. Case files will be sent to the Defiance County prosecutor’s office for presentation to a grand jury.

The burglary charges are felonies of the fourth degree.
