Kimber M. Nadeau, 39, of Napoleon appeared Wednesday in Napoleon Municipal Court for an initial appearance on one count of corrupting another with drugs, a felony of the second degree, and one count of trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree.
Nadeau requested court-appointed counsel, and the court determined she qualified. A full preliminary hearing is set for 2 p.m. today.
A $25,000 appearance bond was set under the condition she receives a drug assessment while at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio and complies with treatment while at the regional jail and after release.
Earlier this month, the Multi Area Narcotics Task Force reported the charges were in connection with a Jan. 2 narcotic overdose incident in the city. The task force reported it responded to a Patricia Avenue residence, and the overdose victim was revived by Napoleon Fire and Rescue personnel.
