The Ohio Department of Transportation reported the following project updates for Henry County:
•State Route 108 between Holgate and the Maumee River at Napoleon will experience lane restrictions through September for bridge replacement and resurfacing.
•Rte. 108 between Holgate and the Putnam County line will be closed July 13 through mid-September for resurfacing. The full project is expected to be complete in November.
•Pavement work will result in one-day road closures for projects July 6-17. The areas impacted include State Route 109 between state routes 281 and 18, Hamler; Rte. 109 between Plum Street and Township Highway West, Liberty Center; and Rte. 109 between Rte. 281 and Township Road K, Malinta.
•State Route 110 and County Road 424 in Napoleon will experience lane restrictions for new bridge construction over the Maumee River and for roundabout installation. Additional restrictions will be announced as they apply. The estimated completion of the project is June 2022.
•Elm Street in the Village of Holgate between Voight and Cherry streets will be closed through mid-August for a bridge replacement. The detour will be Kaufman Street to Williams Street to Cherry Street.
There are no active projects reported in Fulton County.
In Defiance County, U.S. Route 24 between the Paulding and Henry County lines will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.
It was reported the Clinton Street bridge in the City of Defiance still has additional work around the structure that is impacting local traffic. It was reported Fort Street on the west side of the bridge is closed. River Drive and Fort Street on the east side of the bridge are now open. This additional work is expected to continue through summer.
State Route 18 in the Village of Hicksville (truck detour) is open following a railroad repair.
State Route 18 (Main Street) in the Village of Hicksville is closed for approximately two months for railroad repair. The detour is Meuse-Argonne Road to Elm Street and back to Rte. 18.
State Route 66 (Jefferson Avenue) between Myers Street and Eppi Lane in Defiance, is closed 90 days for railroad bridge repair. The expected detour will be Downs Street to Dietrick Street to Holgate Avenue to Clinton Street, and back to Rte. 66.
