HICKSVILLE - Four people were arrested following an investigation into breaking and entering and theft of an area business.

The Hicksville Police Department served a search warrant at an address in the village as part of the investigation. Officers found evidence of that crime, as well as suspected methamphetamine.

The Multi Area Narcotics Unit was contacted and arrived on scene with an additional warrant to allow for the search of drugs of abuse.

Approximately five grams of suspected methamphetamine was found.

David Piasecki, 49, Sherwood, was arrested for violating community control and taken to the Corrections of Center of Northwest Ohio.

Three other individuals found in the home who have not been identified are also facing criminal charges and a case file will be presented to the Defiance County prosecutor's office for review.

The Defiance County Sheriff's Office and Defiance County Adult Probation ISP Unit assisted.
