Two-vehicle crash

GERMAN TOWNSHIP, FULTON COUNTY — The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a Monday crash that resulted in serious injuries for one motorist.

The crash occurred at 8:01 a.m. when Austin Santure, 17, Adrian, Michigan, was southbound on County Road 21 approaching County Road B. Santure failed to stop at the stop sign for Road B and was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Kristie Strawn, 58, of Archbold.

Both vehicles went off the south side of County Road B.

Santure was transported by air ambulance to a Toledo area medical facility with serious injuries, while Strawn was transported to Fulton County Health Center with minor injuries.

Both drivers were using their safety belts at the time of the crash.
