ARCHBOLD – All active duty military and veterans will receive free admission to Historic Sauder Village on Saturday.
Sauder Village will be open Friday and Saturday for the holiday weekend. Hours are Friday from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sauder Village will offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their immediate families, including National Guard and reserve, from Saturday, May 27 through Labor Day as part of the Blue Star Museum program.
As a Blue Star Museum, Sauder Village is one of more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to military personnel and their immediate families this summer in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense.
“The Memorial Day weekend traditionally marks the start of the summer vacation season and Sauder Village is a great place for families to celebrate and make happy memories together,” said Jeanette Smith, Marketing Director. “We look forward to having families stay at the Inn or Campground, play in the pool, visit unique shops, enjoy great food, and unique experiences while visiting the Historic Village.”
