ARCHBOLD — The Four County Career Center Board of Education recently met in regular session.

The board:

•Heard presentations from staff that participated in the Summer Work Experience Program.

•Approved appropriation modifications and “then and now” certification as presented by the treasurer.

•Approved the updated five-year forecast for submission to the Ohio Department of Education.

•Approved a resolution accepting tax rates and amounts.

•Approved the revision of student fees.

•Approved Wright Specialty/Markel Corp. for property, casualty and fleet insurance for 2019-20 policy year.

•Approved substitute lists for certified, classified and internal, and adult education instructors as presented.

•Approved board committees as presented.

•Approved the NBEC/NWOCA internet service agreement and the State of Ohio Department of Administrative Services master lease agreement, lease schedules and exhibits for Pitney Bowes Equipment.

•Approved renewing the lease for the Wauseon CBI site.

•Approved the health and wellness strategic plan.

•Approved the CRA acknowledgement and waiver for Janmar Properties, LLC, as well as Tax Increment Financing (TIF) exemption acknowledgement, waiver and donation agreement for the Ohio Turnpike Development Incentive Area.

•Accepted the donation of bales of hay from Scott Norden for vet assisting; a 32-inch LED television from Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Short to the BPA Club; and items from Marshall Loveless for the mechanical systems and piping program.

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular March board of education meeting March 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at Four County Career Center.
