The Multi Area Narcotics Task Force reported charges have been served following a Jan. 2 overdose incident in the city.

The task force reported it responded to a Patricia Avenue residence in Napoleon Jan. 2 for a narcotic overdose complaint. The overdose victim was revived by Napoleon Fire and Rescue personnel.

According to a MAN Unit press release, an investigation located the source of the narcotic from that incident. Kimber M. Nadeau, 39, of Napoleon was arrested Friday and charged with trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fifth degree, and corrupting another with drugs, a felony of the second degree, in an alleged connection with the overdose.

It was reported the case will be presented to the Henry County prosecuting attorney at the next county grand jury for further charges.

The task force was also assisted by the Napoleon Police Department.
