The Henry County commissioners Tuesday approved a drug and alcohol policy for the transportation network.

The board Tuesday discussed the matter with Brad Booth of the transportation network prior to the approval.

The board also:

•Met with Amy Hoffman with Palmer Energy on aggregation renewal. The aggregation is renewed every two years.

•Approved budget adjustments and “then and now” purchase orders.

•Approved the annual highway system mileage certification to show there are 405.282 miles that the county maintains.

•Entered executive session with Katie Nelson and Michael Cavanaugh for matters required to be kept confidential. No actions were taken following the session.

The commissioners will meet next on Thursday. Items on the agenda include meeting with Andrew Carnahan at 9 a.m. for a project update and meeting with Henry County CIC Director April Welch at 10 a.m.

Henry County offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
