DEFIANCE — A Hamler woman was indicted by a Defiance County grand jury Wednesday after allegedly stealing prescription medication from a local hospital where she worked.

According to Defiance County Prosecutor Morris J. Murray, Robyn L. Maas, 41, was indicted on one count of theft of drugs, a fourth-degree felony.

Authorities allege, on Jan. 6, Maas, while working as a nurse at a hospital in Defiance, falsified records to facilitate the theft of prescription medication.
