WOOSTER — Kalyn Blue of Hamler has secured a 12-week internship with the Certified Angus Beef brand in Wooster.

Blue, daughter of Karren and the late Bruce Blue, is a junior agriculture communications and meat science major at The Ohio State University.

In her role as digital marketing intern, Blue will create content and brand messaging for social media platforms, develop skills in creative and corporate copywriting, and gain experience in visual storytelling and editing.

“I look forward to growing personally and professionally with the Certified Angus Beef brand,” Blue said. “I will be developing skills in an area I’m passionate about, and I hope to help bridge the gap between consumers and the farmers and ranchers who bring the best Angus beef to the table.”

Blue recently completed her sophomore year at Ohio State Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster. She presided over the Hoof-N-Hide Club, was active in Community Council and several other campus clubs, and served as a resident advisor.
