ARCHBOLD — The Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center and the regional quiz director recently held a virtual quiz tournament for a group of schools within the four-county area, with Pettisville Local Schools winning first place in three categories.
Sally Kovar, education consultant, and Greg Bossick, regional quiz director, hosted the tournament to enable students to participate virtually so they could have the experience of extra-curricular activities in these difficult times. Participating schools included Ayersville, Antwerp, Evergreen, Hicksville, Hilltop, Montpelier, Patrick Henry, Pettisville, Stryker, Swanton and Tinora.
Students competed in varsity, junior varsity and junior high levels.
