Patrick Henry students tour Gilson Screen Factory

The Patrick Henry Local Schools Summer Robotics Workshop hit the road to tour the Gilson Screen Factory in Malinta. The group was greeted by plant supervisor Marty Lawrence who passed the group on to engineer John Cody for the plant tour. Students were shown all aspects of the operation and were able to meet several of the highly skilled employees working there who complete tasks like CNC laser, lathe and press operators, welders, painters, assemblers and office personnel. Cody also showed the students the robotic welder line where their world-renowned aggregate testing equipment is produced.
