The Henry County Senior Center is offering “drive-thru” meals for seniors.

The meals must be ordered 24 hours in advance, and are available for people 60 years or older Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. There are no dine-in meals at the center during executive orders issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Call the senior nutrition department at 419-599-0033 to order the meals in advance. A turkey and cheese sandwich is available in place of the main entree for the day, and a chef salad can also be ordered in place of the entire meal.

Tuesday, Aug. 4 — Dinner ham, red-skin potatoes, peas and carrots, applesauce and cornbread.

Wednesday, Aug. 5 — Chicken nuggets, baked beans, stewed tomatoes, mixed fresh fruit and rice cereal square.

Thursday, Aug. 6 — Beef goulash, garlic bread, Schnitzel green beans, corn, lettuce salad with ranch dressing, and orange mandarin salad.

Friday, Aug. 7 — Hoagie deli sub sandwich with lettuce and tomato, potato salad, pea salad and fresh melon.
