Virus update

Cases, hospitalizations and deaths related to COVID-19 have all risen in Henry County over the past week. As of Wednesday afternoon, the Henry County Health Department reported 801 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, an increase of 117 confirmed cases in one week. The active cases category is the number of individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently under isolation. There were nine new hospitalizations within the past week, bringing the total number of hospitalizations up to 76. Three deaths were also recorded in the past week, and there are now 23 deaths in the county. These figures are cumulative since the beginning of the pandemic.
