River bridge to open soon

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced Tuesday afternoon that the new Maumee River bridge in Napoleon will be opened with a ceremony Nov. 9. at 10 a.m. Participants may park along both sides of the future Industrial Drive extending north from the roundabout on State Route 110, near the Campbell Soup Supply Co. During the ceremony, the name of the new structure will be announced, and members of the River City Rodders car club will be the first allowed to drive over the bridge. It will be open to the public shortly after the ceremony is concluded.
