WAUSEON — The office of the Fulton County prosecuting attorney reported a Wauseon man was recently sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas Court.
Samuel Dahlke, 43, previously pleaded guilty to domestic violence, a felony of the fourth degree.
Fulton County Common Pleas Court online records indicate Dahlke was indicted in November on the charge, along with charges of disrupting public services, a felony of the fourth degree, and abduction, a felony of the third degree. The grand jury for the indictment specified Dahlke had previously been convicted of or pleaded guilty to domestic violence on or about June 3, 2019, bringing this domestic violence to a felony of the fourth degree.
The online records state Dahlke originally submitted a plea of not guilty on the three-count indictment. That plea was withdrawn, with Dahlke pleading guilty to only the domestic violence charge.
The office of the Fulton County prosecuting attorney reported Dahlke was sentenced to three years of community control. He was further ordered to pay prosecution costs, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol, abide by an 11 pm.-6 a.m. curfew, successfully complete the batterer’s treatment program and any recommended aftercare, complete a dual diagnosis assessment and receive a successful discharge from any recommended treatment and aftercare and successfully complete the Fulton County Drug Court program.
Dahlke was also sentenced to serve six days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, with credit granted for six days already served.
Failure to comply to these conditions could result in Dahlke serving six to 18 months in prison.
A sentencing record on the Fulton County Common Pleas Court online records states the other two charges were dismissed.
