Photo contest

Fulton County K-9 unit Fazzo and Deputy Galbraith have been included in a national photo contest for a chance to win a new vehicle equipped with K-9 customization.

WAUSEON — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office announced K-9 unit Fazzo and Deputy Galbraith are participating in a non-profit photo contest throughout the month of October.

The contest is run by Vested Interest in K-9s, a 501c(3) non-profit with the mission to provide bullet- and stab-protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and related agencies throughout the country.

Fazzo and Galbraith are one of 30 teams across the United States chosen to be in the contest. Voting runs through 11:59 p.m. Oct. 31. The K-9 team with the most votes at the end of the contest wins a new Chevy Tahoe equipped with K-9 customization for patrol.

Visitors to are allowed to vote once every 24 hours. Visitors on the site can click the entrant gallery and find Fazzo’s photo to vote.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was reported to be the only agency in the state of Ohio included in the contest.
