WAUSEON — The Fulton County prosecuting attorney’s office reported a Delta man was recently sentenced in Fulton County Common Pleas Court.

Matthew Strayer, 52, previously pleaded guilty to illegal cultivation of marijuana. It was reported, on Aug. 6, he cultivated marijuana.

Strayer was sentenced to two years of community control. He was further ordered to pay prosecution costs, pay a $750 fine, complete a drug/alcohol assessment, successfully complete any recommended treatment, serve 30 days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio and stay out of bars/taverns.

Failure to comply could result in Strayer serving 12 months in prison.
