Accidents:

A private-property accident was reported at 601 E. Riverview Ave. at 6:48 p.m. Sunday.

A hit-skip accident was reported on American Road near Industrial Drive at 1:49 p.m. Monday.

A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported on South Perry Street at 3:45 p.m. Monday.

Served:

•Heather Almaguer, 32, of Weston, bench warrant out of Napoleon Municipal Court, directly at the police department, 2:02 p.m. Sunday; according to Napoleon Municipal Court online records, the warrant was issued for failure to appear for a summons on a return and payment of income tax matter.

•Trey Ridenour, 19, of Napoleon, Fulton County warrant, following a traffic stop, Hobson Street near East Riverview Avenue, 8:07 p.m. Sunday, transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

Charged:

•James Rutkowski, 56, homeless, with criminal trespassing and theft, following the report of a suspicious person, 1412 Scott St. Unit 1/2, 11:35 p.m. Sunday, transported to CCNO.

Also reported to the police department:

•Theft, Napoleon Party Mart, 1:55 p.m. Sunday, pending investigation.

•Parking violation, 200 block of Maumee Lane, 4:16 p.m. Sunday, citation issued for parking where signs prohibit.

•Theft, Walmart, 4:30 p.m. Sunday, nothing further reported.

•9-1-1 hangup, Welsted Street, 4:58 p.m. Sunday, all reported to be okay.

•Suspicious vehicle, Cedarbrook Avenue, 11 p.m. Sunday, all reported to be okay.

•Suspicious person, 300 block of South Perry Street, 7:59 a.m. Monday, matter handled.

•Theft, Chief Supermarket, 11:28 a.m. Monday, pending investigation, a warning was also issued for criminal trespassing.

•A subject at Napoleon High School reported a theft, 2:16 p.m. Monday, pending investigation.

•Driving complaint, Oakwood Avenue near Yeager Street, 4:15 p.m. Monday, pending investigation.

•Protection order violation, Avon Place, 4:40 p.m. Monday, warning issued.

•Civil matter, Patricia Avenue, 4:57 p.m. Monday.

Henry County Sheriff’s Office

Accidents:

Larry R. Root, 40, of Morenci, Michigan, was southbound on County Road 24 at 4:21 p.m. Sunday and stopped for the posted stop sign at State Route 34 in Ridgeville Township. It was reported Root failed to see an eastbound vehicle operated by Levi T. Myers, 16, of Archbold, and proceeded through the intersection. Root’s vehicle struck the driver’s side of Myers’ vehicle. No injuries were reported, and damage to both vehicles was disabling. Root was cited for failure to yield at a through intersection.

Jesse A. Herman, 29, of Hamler and John E. Mahlman, 56, of Deshler were both northbound on State Route 109 in Marion Township at 8:10 a.m. Monday. It was reported Mahlman attempted to turn westbound onto County Road F when Herman went to pass the vehicle, resulting in a collision. No injuries were reported. Damage to Herman’s vehicle was minor, and damage to Mahlman’s vehicle was functional.

•Downed stop sign, County Road U at State Route 66, 7:37 p.m. Sunday.

•Tire ruts in yard, 12-329 Township Road P3, 10:30 a.m. Monday.
