Napoleon Police Department


It was reported Rafael A. Davila, 21, of Napoleon slid on the ice- and snow-covered roadway in the 1200 block of Scott Street at 5:36 p.m. Feb. 15 and struck the rear of a vehicle operated by Jon D. Rohrs, 49, of Napoleon. No injuries were reported, and damage to both vehicles was minor.

Terry L. Woltmann, 58, of Deshler stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Monroe Street and Clinton Street at 12:12 p.m. Feb. 19 and proceeded straight through the intersection. It was reported Ruth A. Behnfeldt, 82, of McClure then turned right from a stop sign at the intersection and struck Woltmann’s vehicle. No injuries were reported, and damage to both vehicles was minor.


•Dustin Altman, 32, of Napoleon, warrant, Union Street, 4:31 p.m. Sunday, transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio; CCNO online records indicate Altman was being held on a charge of failure to appear.


•Justin Schieber, 34, of Wauseon, for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension and unsafe vehicle, following a traffic stop, Depot Street near Hobson Street, 4:45 p.m. Sunday.


•Martin Sanchez, 52, of Napoleon, with domestic violence and child endangerment, Daggett Drive, 10:26 p.m. Sunday, transported to CCNO.

•Box on roadway, Oakwood Avenue near U.S. Route 24, 3 p.m. Sunday, item removed from roadway.

•Box on roadway, 900 block of South Perry Street, 5:51 p.m. Sunday, unable to locate.

Henry County Sheriff’s Office


Joshua Lee Howard, 33, of Fostoria was westbound on State Route 281 near County Road 8 in Monroe Township at 2:59 a.m. Monday when it was reported he lost control of his vehicle on the snow/slush-covered roadway. The vehicle spun around, went off the south side of the roadway and then came to rest on its side. Howard had possible injuries and was treated by Monroe Township EMS.


•Mario Hernandez Jr., 61, of Napoleon, with driving while under the influence and failure to maintain reasonable control, State Route 108 near County Road J, 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

•Assault, County Road U near County Road 15B, 9:50 a.m. Monday, investigation pending.

•Vehicle in ditch, Rte. 108 near County Road O, 3:11 p.m. Monday, vehicle pulled to the roadway.

•Parking complaint, County Road 17 near County Road A, 3:47 p.m. Monday, matter handled.
