Lynn A. Vela, 44, of Wauseon appeared Thursday for a preliminary hearing on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Vela waived the right to the hearing, and the case was bound over to Henry County Common Pleas Court for further proceedings. Vela was released on a recognizance bond.

Andrew S. Snyder, 29, of Defiance appeared Thursday for a full preliminary hearing on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

Snyder waived his right to the hearing, and the case was bound over to Henry County Common Pleas Court for further proceedings.

He was released on his own recognizance under the condition he checks in with the common pleas court probation department per phone once a week, consumes no illicit drugs, submits to random drug screening and receive an assessment from Recovery Services.
