Accident:

A two vehicle, non-injury accident was reported in the 1400 block of Scott Street at 4:43 p.m. Thursday. A citation was issued for failure to yield from a private drive. Nothing further was reported.

A vehicle struck a pole at 1400 Scott St. at 7:44 a.m. Friday. Nothing further was reported.

A hit-skip accident was reported after a sign was struck in the 700 block of West Washington Street at 8:21 a.m. Friday. Nothing further was reported.

•Michael Prystash, 46, of Napoleon, warrant, Yeager Street, 2:26 p.m. Thursday, transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio; CCNO online records indicate Prystash is being held on two counts of theft, one count of forgery and one count of a community control violation.

Henry County Sheriff’s Office

Accidents:

Todd L. Shepard, 53, of McClure was westbound on U.S. Route 24 near mile marker 52 in Washington Township at 3:01 p.m. Wednesday one a right-side lift tire detached from its axle on his vehicle. It was reported the tire crossed the median and struck vehicles operated by Dorothy L. Sharp, 60, of Defiance, and Rodger L. Hefflinger, 73, of Napoleon. No injuries were reported. Damage to Sharp’s vehicle was minor, and damage to Hefflinger’s vehicle was disabling.

Mary A. Scarbrough, 66, of Napoleon was traveling on County Road P near County Road 12 in Harrison Township at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday when her vehicle struck a deer that ran onto the roadway. Scarbrough was not injured, and damage to her vehicle was minor.

An injury crash was reported on State Route 109 near County Road W in Liberty Township at 3:56 p.m. Thursday. A report was pending as of press time.

An accident was reported on County Road U near County Road 6C in Washington Township at 4:44 a.m. Friday. A report was pending as of press time.

An accident was reported on U.S. Route 24 near mile marker 48 at 2:12 p.m. Friday. A report was pending as of press time.
