Accident:

A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported on Independence Drive, 3:01 p.m. Wednesday.

Served:

•Erik Johnson, 38, of Napoleon, summons for two counts of nuisances for habitation deemed unclean, Park Street, 7:52 p.m. Tuesday; also served warrant out of Wood County for failure to appear, 8:11 p.m., bond posted.

•Jason Knepley, 48, of Napoleon, summons for return and payment of income tax, Park Street, 7:57 p.m. Tuesday.

•Janice Kuh, age not reported, of Napoleon, summons for return and payment of income tax, Glen Arbors Drive, 9:58 p.m. Tuesday.

•Leedell Garrett, 31, of Bowling Green, warrant for failure to appear, directly at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, 5:51 a.m. Wednesday.

Also reported to the police department:

•Theft, Fuel King, 6:10 a.m. Wednesday, matter handled.

•A nuisance matter involving litter/rubbish was addressed on Beckham Street, 9:33 a.m. Wednesday.

•Noise disturbance, Bariarheath Avenue near Clairmont Avenue, 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, warning issued.

Accidents:

Kimberly S. Gerken, 42, of Napoleon was eastbound on County Road 424 near State Route 109 in Liberty Township at 6:52 a.m. Tuesday when a deer ran in front of her motorcycle. It was reported the deer struck the vehicle and caused Gerken to lay down the motorcycle. Gerken reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries, but was not transported from the scene. Damage to the vehicle was minor.

A vehicle-cow crash was reported on County Road X near County Road 18 in Ridgeville Township at 8:56 p.m. Tuesday. A report was pending as of press time.

Tiffany N. Templeton, 29, of Fort Wayne was eastbound in the right lane of U.S. Route 24 near mile marker 48 at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday. Stephanie S. McColley, 45, of Napoleon was also eastbound, traveling in the left lane slightly behind Templeton’s vehicle. It was reported Templeton failed to see McColley’s vehicle in her blind spot, and sideswiped the vehicle while changing lanes. No injuries were reported, and damage to both vehicles was minor.

•Disabled vehicle, U.S. Route 6 near County Road 5 in Damascus Township, 4:54 p.m. Tuesday, vehicle was towed.

•Suspicious activity, County Road M near County Road 1 in Damascus Township, 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, abandoned bicycle found.

•Animal call, County Road L near County Road 9 in Monroe Township, 9:12 p.m. Tuesday, deer removed from roadway.

•Suspicious vehicle, County Road 7 near County Road E, 10:04 p.m. Tuesday, gone upon deputy arrival.

•Mailbox damaged, 22290 County Road S in Ridgeville Township, 9:45 a.m. Wednesday.
