Car fire on Appian Avenue Friday

The Napoleon Fire Department responded to a car fire in the driveway of 424 Appian Ave. at 2:54 p.m. Friday. The fire originated in the white sedan and spread to the adjacent SUV. Three-hundred and twenty gallons of water were used to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $10,000. The cause of the fire was undetermined as of press time. The department cleared the scene at 3:53 p.m.
