Doyle was a master journeyman with U. A. Local #50 and worked in the field for over 40 years. In the late ‘70s he was a scout leader with Pack #174, and enjoyed organizing events such as the Pinewood Derby, paper drives and Blue and Gold Banquets. He and his wife were often tasked with facilitating the games at their annual family reunions. The Patrick Family could always look forward to many silly games, apple bobs, piñatas and more whenever Doyle and Mary took charge. Doyle was a true Irishman who loved his Guinness and corned beef dinners. He was a wonderful storyteller, and would often share his life experiences to the amusement of his family and friends. His laughter was contagious and always left the room in stitches. Doyle was a generous man, and would share his time and talents to those who were in need. He was a treasure and will be dearly missed.

There will be no services held at this time. A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Henry County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Walker-Hoening Mortuary, 333 W. Main St., Napoleon, Ohio 43545.
