Kay Ann Hallock

Kay Ann Hallock, age 68, of Napoleon passed away April 1, 2021, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

She was born April 15, 1952, in Napoleon, Ohio, to Elmer and Olga (Sonnenberg) Bockelman. Kay was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wauseon where she was baptized, confirmed and married. In her younger years, she taught Sunday School and was the church custodian. Kay helped on the family farm collecting eggs to sell. She enjoyed diamond art and embroidery. Visiting with her grandsons and her healthcare aides always brought her great joy. A world traveler, Kay visited destinations that included Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and the Holy Land.

Kay is survived by her daughter, Marsha Hallock; grandsons, Nathan and Maxwell; siblings, Beverly (Tim) Saneholtz, Ladonna (Robert) Witte, Darrell (Barb) Bockelman and Dennis (Rhonda) Bockleman; brother-in-law, Mike Hallock; sister-in-law, Ruth Hallock; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father and mother-in-law, Burt and Phyllis Hallock; husbands, Bruce Hallock and Ronald Furhhop; son, Daniel Hallock; and brother-in-law, Tom Hallock.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, April 6 from 4-8 pm at Snyder-Wesche-Hoening Funeral Home, 830 N. Scott St. Napoleon, Ohio. The Funeral Service for Kay will take place Wednesday, April 7 at 11 a.m. in St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wauseon, preceded by visitation from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Luke Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorial tributes will be gratefully accepted by the family.
