Luella Mae Browneller

Dec. 16, 1933-Feb. 7, 2020

Luella Mae Browneller, 86, of Deshler, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 7, 2020, at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.

She was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Arlington, Ohio, to the late Harold and Dolores (Feller) Bibler. On Nov. 24, 1954, she married Larry Browneller and they have shared over 65 years of marriage.

Luella was a 1951 graduate of Arlington High School. Over the years she worked at the former Kreskies Five and Dime in Findlay; Ulhman’s Department Store, Findlay; Egry Register Co., Leipsic; Budde’s Grocery, Deshler; and then finally retired in 1996 from Metal Forge of Deshler.

Along with her husband, she enjoyed years of traveling all over the country. When she wasn’t reading her Bible, she would read about places to go or events happening. This would lead them to packing stuff up and heading out in their motorhome for their next adventure. Along the way, she loved seeing old friends and meeting new people. When at home or on the road, she always kept a loving eye on her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Cathy (Michael) Hopkins; son, Mike “Creeper” Browneller; grandchildren, Brian (Sheila) Sizemore, Ryan (Tasha) Sizemore, Daniel (Brianna) Sizemore, Jeff Hopkins, Andrew Hopkins, Kelli Hopkins, Katie Hopkins, Johnny Browneller, Tommy Browneller; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Bibler; and sister, Susie Crates.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Delbert, Norman and Gerald Bibler.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, Pastor Richard Betts officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m Thursday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to Deshler Fireman’s Association, Hamler Fire Department or Henry County South Joint Ambulance District.
