Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Lather, 58, of Napoleon passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, at The Cleveland Clinic from a short, but hard-fought battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
She was born in Napoleon, Ohio, on June 19, 1962, to Gary and Theresa (Weasel) Franz. Beth married Larry Lee Lather June 18, 1983, in Napoleon, Ohio.
Beth dedicated her life to serving others as a Registered Nurse for 35 years. She had an amazing gift from God and was deeply passionate for anyone she served. Beth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her six grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking large meals, including her famous pecan tarts for family gatherings. Beth had a love for all animals, especially her three mini-dachshund babies, Ellie, Emma and Bozley.
Beth is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Larry; daughters, Brittni (Ron Patton) Lather, Brandi (Brian) Prather, Amanda (Chris) Cody; grandchildren, Zane Mengerink-Lather, Callie, Kennedy, and Karsyn Prather, Dominic and Hanley Cody; parents, Gary (Theresa) Franz; sisters, Christine Peddicord, Denise (Charles) Heinze, Marie Kuesel, Jennifer (Rick) Rohrs, Heather (Ray) Grigsby; brothers-in-law, John (Jill) Lather, Dave (Tammy) Lather; mother-in-law, Betty Lather; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father-in-law, Lawrence (Larry) Lather.
Friends and family will be received at Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, from 2-7 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
