Thomas Lee Samlow, 73, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 20, 2023, at Northcrest Rehab and Nursing.
He was born in Napoleon on Feb. 19, 1949, to Delmer and Laura (May) Samlow.

Thomas Lee Samlow, 73, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 20, 2023, at Northcrest Rehab and Nursing.
He was born in Napoleon on Feb. 19, 1949, to Delmer and Laura (May) Samlow.
Tom was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. He proudly served his county in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Tom graduated from McClure High School where he played baseball and was a four-year varsity basketball star. He also coached the girls’ basketball team at St. Paul Lutheran School for many years.
Tom is survived by his children, Jacki (Chad Rohrbaugh) Brown, Ian (Kristine) Samlow and Trent Muehlfeld; grandchildren, Alyssa and Dylan Brown, and Skylar Muehlfeld; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Khloe and Jaylyn; and sister, Sandy (Mike) Brown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Vance.
A memorial service will be held at the Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, Napoleon, on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, at 11 a.m., with an hour of visitation prior to services. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the American Legion Post #300. A private interment will be held at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #300, or the Henry County Humane Society.
