Terry Lynn Guelde, 61, of Hamilton passed away at his home Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Born Oct. 16, 1957, in Hamler, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herman and Johanna (VonSeggern) Guelde.

Terry’s favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. He was an avid deer hunter and loved going to North Dakota with his best friend, Glenn, and spending time at the cabin. Some may say that he was quite a character and an elaborate storyteller. Although Terry loved hunting and fishing, some of his best times were spent just being a grandpa to his granddaughters. Spending time with them brought smiles, laughter and created wonderful memories to cherish.

Terry leaves behind his children, Rebecca “Bub” Guelde, Patty Jo, Terry and Heather; his siblings, Geraldine Imbrock (Ohio), Shirley Meyer (Ohio), Herman F. Guelde (Ohio), Eugene R. Guelde (Alabama), James L. Guelde (Wyoming), Gary A. Guelde (Ohio); many nieces and nephews, along with many friends, including his best friend, Glenn, and good friend, Martha.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman R. Guelde; his mother, Johanna VonSeggern Guelde; his brothers-in-law, Larry Imbrock and Ken Myer.

Cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a Celebration of Life in the near future to honor and celebrate Terry’s life.

Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
