Caydyn Eagleton, 13, of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away Oct. 8, 2020, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Caydyn was born June 4, 2007, in Mesa, Arizona, to Timothy Eagleton and Britni Williams.

Caydyn is survived by his mother, Britni; father, Timothy; stepfather, Justin Kepling; his four sisters, Korah, Sylah, Airah and Kya; and a host of loving grandparents and family.

Caydyn was preceded in death by his grandmother Carol and cousin Deputy Jake Calvin.

Caydyn was known for his generous heart, compassion, gentleness, and was full of life and love to everyone. He was a sweetheart to everyone, melted the hearts of many and was described as “an Angel here on Earth” with a brightness around him. Caydyn was always full of life, full of energy, and had a bright smile that lifted everyone’s spirits. He loved to be around other kids, especially babies and was a fierce protector of his sisters.

Caydyn enjoyed playing Minecraft and Fortnite along with other card games. He loved to dance, use finger skateboards and scooters. He had many pets but his favorite was a lime green chameleon whom he named Summer. Caydyn could ride a bike without training wheels when he was 2 and was soon riding dirt bikes after that. He like to watch YouTube videos of Tanner Fox and even got a shout out from him in one of his videos. His ultimate goal was to be famous and he enjoyed singing and posting videos on YouTube.

Caydyn donated DNA from his tumors to use in medical research to help find a cure for his rare form of cancer. He wanted to continue to help others. His battle message written by a fellow cancer warrior he lived by was: “Rise from the flames, Shake off the ashes & SOAR.” Caydyn will be greatly missed by all.
