The Napoleon High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2023 was recently selected with Mike Burke, (coach) tennis, football and girls basketball (1975-2011); Tim Carney, (coach) soccer (2001-2008); Kelsey (Meyer) Cowell, softball (2012); Matt DeMichiei, soccer (2009); Ryan Harper, football, swimming and track and field (2009); Makenzie (Garringer) Rzyski, swimming and water polo (2013); and Erika (Vocke) Walker, water polo, swimming and softball (2012) being chosen.
The 2023 Hall of Fame weekend is Sept. 8-9. On Friday night, when the Wildcats host the Anthony Wayne Generals in football, the class will be honored at halftime of the game. The induction ceremony will occur Saturday at the Bert G. Taylor American Legion Post #300 at 6 p.m.
