LIBERTY CENTER — Liberty Center took the third set, but fell to Delta 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-18 in a Northwest Ohio Athletic League volleyball match Tuesday at The Jungle.

The Lady Tigers dropped to 7-12 overall, 1-5 in the NWOAL, while the Lady Panthers improved to 9-8, 1-6 in league play.

Liberty Center travels to Miller City Thursday for a non-league game and to Wauseon Friday for its NWOAL and regular-season finale.

Maumee 3, Napoleon 0

MAUMEE — Napoleon fell in straight sets, 25-10, 25-18, 25-18, to the Lady Panthers Tuesday night in Northern Lakes League volleyball action.

Olivia Bostelman had three kills for the Lady Cats, while Molly Rees made five blocks and Lauder Bockelman added four blocks. Kalli Helberg made eight assists and Anna Mack had seven digs.

Napoleon also lost the junior varsity match 25-16, 25-15.

Olivia Sickmiller, Jenna Oberhaus and Ella Tassler each had three kills, while Oberhaus and Kendall Rosebrook made 11 digs apiece. Rebecca Burkhart had 10 digs.

Napoleon (0-17, 0-13 in the NLL) hosts Springfield Thursday.

Wayne Trace 3, Holgate 1

HAVILAND — After a rough second set, Holgate bounced back to win the third set. However, Wayne Trace recovered for the 25-16, 25-4, 24-26, 25-20 Green Meadows Conference victory Tuesday night.

Jordyn Altman led the Lady Tigers with six kills, while Aniles Schuler and Jessie Thome each had four kills and Carissa Meyer, Kenzie Roehl and Bailey Izor each added three kills.

Meyer had 14 blocks, while Bria Tijerina had 18 digs. Izor made nine assists, while Thome added eight assists and Altman served a pair of aces.

Gracie Shepard and Rachel Stoller led Wayne Trace (9-11 overall and 2-4 in the GMC) with 13 kills each. Shepard also had 14 digs to pace the defense, while Paige Alber made 20 assists and Kacy Hornish added 19 assists.

Hannah Sanderson and Alber each served three aces.

Holgate (1-19 overall and 0-6 in the GMC) hosts Ayersville Thursday.
