Napoleon’s Miranda Bachman bumps a pass toward the net during the Lady Cats’ match with Anthony Wayne Tuesday in the Grand Canyon.

Invading Anthony Wayne swept Napoleon 25-19, 25-16, 25-19 in Northern Lakes League action Tuesday in the Grand Canyon.

Molly Rees led the Lady Cats with seven kills, while Olivia Bump added five kills. Erica Meyer made 13 assists, while Averie Shroyer led the defense with 15 digs.

Napoleon also lost the junior varsity match, 14-25, 25-13, 25-20. Maggie Riseborough had three aces, seven assists and 10 digs, while Makayla Kruse had three kills, one block and one dig and Olivia Sickmiller had two aces, two kills and three digs.

Napoleon (1-9, 0-5 in the NLL) travels to Maumee Thursday.

Archbold 3, Delta 0

ARCHBOLD — The Lady Streaks swept Delta 25-10, 25-11, 25-5 in Northwest Ohio Athletic League action Tuesday in the Thunderdome.

Keely Culler led Archbold with 14 kills, while Ella Bowman added eight kills and Olivia Liechty had seven kills and eight aces. Addi Ziegler made 35 assists.

Archbold (7-0, 3-0 in the NWOAL) hosts Napoleon Saturday.

Swanton 3, PH 0

SWANTON — Patrick Henry dropped a NWOAL match to the host Lady Bulldogs 25-18, 26-24, 25-13 Tuesday.

Allie Arnos led the Lady Patriots with seven kills, while Kelsey Smith had four blocks. Whitney Johnson, who had 17 assists, and Karsyn Weber each served two aces, while Baylor McGraw and Chloe Baird each had eight digs to pace the defense.

Patrick Henry (3-5, 2-1 in the NWOAL) hosts Hicksville Thursday.
